On Sunday, October 16th from 1-4:00pm, Saline’s Sesquicentennial celebration continues with a “Historic Homes Tour & Tea.” This is a rare opportunity to enter some of the community’s most celebrated historic private homes and also enjoy an intimate Traditional Tea with Saline Historian Bob Lane on hand for questions and historical stories.

Plan to spend next Sunday afternoon at the Rentschler Farm Museum. Our 19th Annual Harvest Time will take place Noon-5:00 with pumpkin painting, wagon rides, live animals, demonstrations, traditional crafts, farm and house open for visitors, and food wagons from the Kiwanis and Lions Club. The gift shop will be open. Admission $1 Adults; Children Free.

Kendra Kokelaar is August’s Pave It Forward Winner!


And the Pave It Forward winner for August is….Kendra Kokelaar! The winning ticket was drawn by Karen Carrigan, owner of Carrigan Cafe. Lucky for Kendra she brought her receipts from Saline Optometry into the Saline Chamber office and got her Pave It Forward raffle tickets because now she is $250 richer!
