This is a rare opportunity to enter some of the community’s most celebrated historic private homes and enjoy an intimate Traditional Tea with Saline Historian Bob Lane on hand for questions and historical stories.
In honor of Preservation Month, the Saline Historic District Commission will be offering FREE, 30 minute walking tours of the three local Historical Districts in Saline this Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Enjoy the historical landmarks in Saline by trolley and take a short, free tour, narrated by members of the Saline Historical Society. Highlights include downtown buildings, churches, the cemetery, homes, the railroad, Union School, and more.
What were Saline people like in the 1800's? Come to a cemetery enactment tour on Saturday, September, 30 and learn by hearing the stories of those you lived here. Tours are from 2pm - 6pm at Oakwood Cemetery.
