Acoustic Route Concert’s first “Songwriters in the Round” is going to showcase the incredible depth of talent we have in our own backyard, with three amazing artists trading song throughout the night.
Ypsilanti-based Sam Corbin’s influences range from the thought provoking troubadours of Greenwich Village to the soul singers of Detroit. His most recent album titled “Let The Fire Burn Strong” released in the early winter of 2016 was named by John Bommarito (Ann Arbor’s 107.1 FM) as his #1 album of 2016.

Mark Jewett is a Detroit area singer-songwriter. His work has been twice recognized by American Songwriter Magazine (2015 and 2017 Lyrics Contests) and twice by the For Song Sake Songwriting Challenge as (2013 and 2012). While his music tends to defy any strict genre definition, you are likely to hear influences from folk, rock and pop to country and blues if you listen closely.
